The Second of AugustTwo girls and a boy make a road trip to the woods, where they set up camp and spend the night. A speechless paean to slowness, quiet and intimacy. It remains unclear whether the film is improvised or not. The story reads like a page from a diary, about an empty day, that could have taken place any time.
