O Ego de EgasEgas Moniz, a man marked by perseverance and ambition. Audacious and in dissonance with a country full of “narrow-minded” people, Egas Moniz faced everyone so as to impose his scientific ideas, for which he was awarded, at a quite advanced stage of his life, the much-desired Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1949.
